The pattern i see is that our technology focuses on electronics, and phones and of course computers but anything that people actually use with their hands or things that are beyond a stupid laptop and stupid gadgets are neglected.

NASA is just a political tool now, but I believe that someday Americans will find space exploration worth while again. We stopped because we beat Russia to the moon and lost the incentive.

There’s been alot of progress in building high quality electric cars. You see it on the news everyday. Running on urine or garbage would really be a plus. Americans just don’t want to give up their SUV’s and gas guzzlers.

I don’t know much about robots (what’s a Roomba?) but I do watch Scientific American Frontiers and they have alot of excellent shows about robots doing things I can’t even imagine.

Now, why can’t they cure the common cold?

Between the fact that blogs provide young people with a chance to exercise their impressive technical aptitude, to gain

visibility without compromising privacy, and to build a readership for their writing without having to jump through the

traditional hoops of the publishing industry, it is little wonder that are so many teenagers with blogs. For some teenagers,

blogging is even a very social endeavor that allows them to meet people with similar interests from all over the world. Many

a blogging teen has discovered that having a weblog on the internet is a great way to explore self-expression and, often, to

win positive feedback from new friends.
