Do you agree that useful, practical products that help people’s lives seem to have been thwarted or stifled?
At the rate things were going, we should have such things as:
1. A dishwasher that is truly silent and washes dishes in 45 seconds. Now, a dishwasher works no better and is no quieter than something from the 1960s. Similar for all wash machines – clothes washers and driers. No progress whatsoever.
2. More trips to moon, and Mars should have been conquered decades ago. Instead, NASA is just a social experiment, political tool, and popularity contest.
3. Dirt-cheap but high quality Electric cars or cars that run on urine or garbage.
4. All kinds of robots and automated machines (things a lot better than "Roombas"
The pattern i see is that our technology focuses on electronics, and phones and of course computers but anything that people actually use with their hands or things that are beyond a stupid laptop and stupid gadgets are neglected.
Why is this?
I agree with some of your statements.
A dishwasher or clothes washer that runs more quietly is just not on my radar screen of worries just now.
NASA is just a political tool now, but I believe that someday Americans will find space exploration worth while again. We stopped because we beat Russia to the moon and lost the incentive.
There’s been alot of progress in building high quality electric cars. You see it on the news everyday. Running on urine or garbage would really be a plus. Americans just don’t want to give up their SUV’s and gas guzzlers.
I don’t know much about robots (what’s a Roomba?) but I do watch Scientific American Frontiers and they have alot of excellent shows about robots doing things I can’t even imagine.
Now, why can’t they cure the common cold?

Internet Marketing Product Reviews – A Common Problem
http://richquickreview.com/about/internet-marketing-product-reviews/
This video is about Internet marketing product reviews and what sets my reviews apart from most of the others you can find online.
If you check out any Internet marketing product name plus "review" in a search engine, you will usually find no shortage of results. However, if you have a closer look at those so-called reviews, you'll soon find that they list hardly any information on the products and just try to get you to buy (through their affiliate link, of course).
In other words, most of these reviews are actually saves pages in disguise. They don't try to inform you about the product, they simply try to get your hopes up and get you to click the "order now" button.
In this video I explained the approach I take to reviewing products. In short, RichQuickReview is one of the very rare sources (perhaps even the only one) of honest, unbiased reviews of Internet marketing products. RichQuickReview is a guaranteed no-hype-zone.
